Mirah is the founder and executive director of Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. She also serves as the Executive Director of the Kauai Humane Society. Prior to moving into animal welfare full time, Mirah clerked on the Supreme Court for Justice Stephen Breyer, worked in the United States Senate for Senators John Kerry and Robert Menendez, and served as counsel in the Office of Legal Policy in the Department of Justice. She also spent 7 years as an executive search consultant in the nonprofit sector.

Longtime Lucky Dog volunteers and adopters, Mix & Match Madness Sponsors. Their journey with Lucky Dog began in 2010 with the adoption of their first dog, and continued over the years adding a second dog to their pack and undertaking various volunteer roles. Lucky Dog's ongoing tremendous growth and unwavering commitment to the animals, shelter partners, communities and adopters, continues to drive Joan & Jon's support and dedication to Lucky Dog. When they are not doing their day jobs in finance and real estate investing, you can find Joan providing post-adoption support to Lucky Dog adopters, running and doing yoga; Jon enjoying sports and fundraising for cancer research; and together both of them enjoying traveling, food, wine and of course being with their two beagle mixes- Mia and Frankie.

Ryan Pratzel is owner of Creative Liquid, a digital marketing firm that has worked with Lucky Dog for ten years. He focuses on video production and digital storytelling. In addition to his work at Creative Liquid, Ryan is a Lucky Dog foster and foster screener. He has three rescue dogs, including two Lucky Dogs.

Richard Carson has been with Arrowine and Cheese since 2019 as a Fine Wine Specialist and Manager. Prior to joining the Arrowine team, he managed a Virginia Winery for over 6 years after leaving a 20 year career in the DC hotel and meeting industry. He is a champion of the local wine industry in Virginia and Maryland and offers over 40 Virginia wines and a virtual tasting platform highlighting both local, West Coast and European producers.

Margaret, of Williams Corner Wine, a distributor based in Charlottesville, is the Northern Virginia account executive to Arrowine. Previously she managed a number of restaurants in Virginia and Washington. A native of Napa Valley, she lives dangerously close to Arrowine.

Nick and his family have been building in DC for five generations. He gets his work ethic, loyalty and leadership from his many experiences - captaining his collegiate lacrosse team, six years as a US Marine serving this country -and from a real passion to make sawdust, to build, and to create things with two hands.

Presenting delicious cheeses from Meadow Creek Dairy from Galax VA -Grayson and Appalachian. David is an Arlington native whose father was a chef for over 40 years. His culinary roots lead him to the role of cheesemonger at Arrowine where he has been for over 6 years. David is a craft beer enthusiast, mushroom forager and a father of one.

Todd is a former Arrowine Cheesemonger and your current Arrowine Beermonger. He has over 15 years experience in the local craft beer industry split between the retail and restaurant industries. To say that he loves beer would be an understatement; besides working in the industry he routinely homebrews, travels to visit new breweries & festivals and going so far as to get married at his favorite brewery. While he also loves dogs he and his wife currently live with their leopard gecko named Cheddar.

Stephany Smith is the Director of Development at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. In her duties as Director of Development, Stephany is responsible for steering Lucky Dog's Special Events, Giving Campaigns, and engaging Individual and Corporate Donors to greater impact the outreach of Lucky Dog. Stephany works enthusiastically with our incredible volunteers and team to share the mission of Lucky Dog. She is thrilled to Mix It Up with everyone for our virtual events, especially Mix & Match Madness!
